Nottingham Forest fans love what Jorgen Strand Larsen has just done – ‘Get him in’

Jorgen Strand Larsen found his goalscoring form once again on Saturday as Wolves cruised into the FA Cup fourth round with a 6-1 victory over Shrewsbury.

The Norway international netted a hat-trick against the League Two side, in what proved to be an easy win for Rob Edwards’ side.

It was a long time coming for Strand Larsen, who has been blasted by Wolves fans in recent weeks for his performances.

However, he has now ended a terrible 12-match goalless run and will now be looking to build on this display.

Going into the match, Strand Larsen was wanted by numerous clubs, including Nottingham Forest, with fans now demanding the striker be brought in on the back of this performance.

Nottingham Forest want Jorgen Strand Larsen to sign after Wolves display

With Wolves essentially relegated from the Premier League already, there have been suggestions that they may be willing to part with some of their best players in January.

Strand Larsen is one such star, with clubs such as Tottenham linked to the Norway international.

However, Forest are another team lurking, and the City Ground faithful now want to see the Reds bring the attacker in, despite his £40million price tag.

Nevertheless, other fans are less keen and have downplayed his display, given the level of opposition Wolves were up against.
