Nottingham Forest fans: Nuno ‘will be sacked’ after Marinakis bust-up
Nottingham Forest fans are claiming Nuno Espirito Santo “will be sacked” after an on-filed bust-up with owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Nuno’s side drew 2-2 with already-relegated Leicester at the City Ground after first-half goals from Conor Coady and Morgan Gibbs-White sent them into half-time at 1-1.
The second half saw Chris Wood find the net before a late equaliser from Facundo Buonanotte meant Forest have now won just one of their last seven games.
They have now dropped to seventh in the Premier League table, leading to fears they could miss out on Europe entirely despite their initial Champions League hopes.
Following the game, all eyes were drawn to the pitch once more as Marinakis stormed on, with footage showing his clear display of anger towards the manager.
As a result, fans are fearing that the notoriously hot-headed owner could pull the trigger and remove Nuno from his position despite what has been an outstanding season.

Nuno Espirito Santo situation unclear after contract latest
Nuno’s future at Forest has been the subject of plenty of speculation in recent weeks – but with many suggesting he could be set for a new contract.
Football Insider exclusively revealed on 31 March that Forest want Nuno to sign a new deal to keep him at the club long-term after an outstanding season.
The boss is set to enter the final year of his current contract in June, and plans were being put in place behind the scenes to extend his stay.
This comes after former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider Forest are pushing to reach an agreement and will do everything to get a deal signed.
However, the situation has become clouded after the recent on-pitch outburst.
Nottingham Forest fans fear Nuno sack as Marinakis is ‘fuming’
As footage was shared live on Sky Sports, tensions amongst Nottingham Forest fans have spiked and many are fearing the manager could now be under pressure.
Marinakis is clearly unhappy with the team’s performances and has made his feelings known – with those frustrations set to grow if their fortunes do not turn.
Taking to social media following the game, Forest supporters are fearing Nuno “will be sacked” with the owner “fuming” after a “disaster” performance.
