Nottingham Forest hit by ‘massive’ Morgan Gibbs-White blow – expert
Morgan Gibbs-White has “no chance” of starting against Leeds United for Nottingham Forest and will face weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
That is the view of medical expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in injury and data analysis, speaking exclusively to Football Insider.
Gibbs-White limped off during the first leg of Nottingham Forest’s EFL Cup semi-final clash with Manchester United last month.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been crucial to Steve Cooper’s side since making a £40million move in the summer, missing just one Premier League game this season.
Gibbs-White is set to miss Forest’s crucial clash against relegation rivals Leeds United on Sunday afternoon.
Dinnery is worried that particular record is set to get considerably worse, with Gibbs-White facing weeks and potentially months on the sidelines.
“There’s absolutely no chance that he starts against Leeds United this weekend,” Dinnery told Football Insider’s Sean Fisher.
“Gibbs-White still isn’t training with the squad after that injury he suffered against Man United.
“It’s still fairly early days, but Gibbs-White is facing a spell in the treatment room which is a massive blow because he’s probably Forest’s biggest game-changer.

“His arrival at the City Ground and his price tag were met with a lot of people questioning the move, but ultimately he could help keep Forest in the Premier League.
“But at the moment Forest are wanting him back on the pitch and they’re hoping it’ll only be weeks and not months on the sideline.“
