Odds slashed: Derek McInnes increasingly likely to become Crystal Palace manager
Derek McInnes has seen his odds crash to take over at Crystal Palace amid his stunning reign at Hearts.
Palace are set to be on the hunt for a manager in the summer, with Oliver Glasner on track to depart.
While many coaches have since been linked to this position, McInnes has now appeared as a potential outsider.
The Hearts manager is on track to deliver the Jambos their first Scottish Premiership title since 1960 in a shock campaign to date.
Now, McInnes has been given 33/1 odds on becoming the next Palace manager, with Oddschecker on 27 February confirming that these odds have been slashed.

Derek McInnes’ managerial record explained
Despite his sensational record in Scotland, McInnes has only ever managed once in England.
This came between 2011 and 2013 at Bristol City, where, despite keeping the club in the division in his first campaign, he was ultimately sacked the following season, after a terrible start.
Following this, he enjoyed a long spell at Aberdeen between 2013 and 2022, where he turned the club into the second-best team in Scotland during Rangers’ absence.
Here, he won one Scottish League Cup title and finished second in the league in numerous campaigns.
Further success followed at Kilmarnock before McInnes made the switch to Hearts last summer.

At the Jambos, he has won 64.71 per cent of his matches, with the club currently sitting four points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Who else is linked to the Crystal Palace job?
Robbie Keane remains the favourite to take the job at Selhurst Park at 7/4.
The Ferencvaros manager has impressed, particularly in Europe, with the club progressing into the Europa League round of 16 on Thursday.
Thomas Frank and Sean Dyche both follow at 3/1. The duo were only recently sacked by both Tottenham and Nottingham Forest, but have been linked to numerous roles in a potential quick return.

Gareth Southgate and Roger Schmidt also remain in contention at 12/1.
The former England National Team manager has been particularly heavily linked to Palace, with the coach formerly playing for the club as a player.
However, it remains to be seen who the Eagles opt to appoint as they look to kick onwards and upwards.
