Roberts was signed by Leeds from West Brom on transfer deadline day and is one of the best bits of business done in January.
The Wales Under-21 international was out of contract at the end of the season but moved to Elland Road for a fee reported to be £2.5million, rising to £4million.
The Baggies were said to have tied in a sell-on clause as well.
Leeds have overspent a bit on someone who would have been available for a compensation fee in the summer but he is someone who can play a role in the team now and be a hit for years to come.
Whites fans only need to look at how West Brom’s supporters have reacted to him leaving the Hawthorns to judge how good a signing he will be.
