Forshaw may be someone that some fans were not impressed with, but the midfielder who arrived from Middlesbrough has an abundance of promotion-winning experience and was also one of the best Riversiders in the Premier League last term.
At £4.5million, he was a big buy, but with O’Kane and Phillips out suspended and constant injuries worrying Ronaldo Vieira, it was a move that Leeds had to make.
He could be a mainstay at Elland Road for several years and is a solid signing.
