Stevens signed for Leeds United on deadline day from Forest Green Rovers but was announced a day later as it seemed that the social media team must have gone to bed early.
Yet again, the midfielder is one for the future but his experience in the English Football League means that he could be soon playing regularly in the Championship.
The odd bit about this deal is that Leeds did not allow him to return to Forest Green on loan until the summer.
He was playing regularly there and that would no doubt have been more of a benefit to him that being in the Under-23s.
