Pau Torres addresses Aston Villa fans ahead of massive PSG clash
Pau Torres has addressed the Aston Villa supporters on social media with the club in need of an extraordinary comeback against PSG in the Champions League.
Last week in Paris, Morgan Rogers put the visitors ahead against the run of play, despite only completing 18 passes inside the opening 15 minutes.
However, Luis Enrique‘s side responded through Désiré Doué as the 19-year-old cut inside from left and bent a curling effort that clipped the underside of the crossbar, before finding the right corner.
Just after the break, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia turned half-time substitute Axel Disasi inside out, creating the space to slam his shot past Emi Martinez at the near post.
Villa were unable to prevent further damage, when Ousmane Dembele found Nuno Mendes two minutes into stoppage time, as the left-back sat down Ezri Konsa and Martinez to finish into an empty net.

Aston Villa face an uphill battle to overturn two-goal deficit
Football Insider Verdict
With PSG’s form since the turn of the year, it felt that the goal in the closing stages at the Parc des Princes put the tie out sight for Villa.
There’s no doubt that in front of their home support, Villa will believe until the final whistle that they can overturn a two goal margin, however as shown recently at Anfield the visitors have the tools to hurt any team.
Emery will need to find the correct balance between not letting the tie slip away and playing into the hands of PSG with their fast attackers on the break.
Despite Marco Asensio missing two penalties last time out versus Southampton, it feels the creative spark of on-loan PSG midfielder could be key for the hosts.
It would require an incredible effort from the fans inside Villa Park if they are to complete an incredible turnaround against perhaps the most in-form side in Europe.
