‘Pep Guardiola is fed up’ after Man City 115 charges latest – Wyness
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has insisted Man City boss Pep Guardiola is simply “fed up” with speculation about the club’s 115 charges.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – insisted he is a “football guy” who is “only concerned with what’s happening on the pitch”.
An independent commission is set to hear the Premier League’s case against City over alleged financial breaches, some of which date back to 2009.
The hearing starts next month and the result could be made public at the start of 2025.
When asked about the case, Guardiola said: “I am happy it starts soon and hopefully it finishes soon for the benefit of all of us.
“We have been three or four years talking about that [the case],” he added.
Guardiola ‘fed up’ with Man City hearing speculation, says Wyness
Responding to Guardiola’s recent comments, Wyness told Football Insider‘s Insider Track podcast: “I don’t think he knows any more than us.
“He’s just fed up with it.
“He’s a football guy and is only concerned with what is happening on the pitch.

“Pep will be fed up with the distractions, fed up hearing it, fed up answering questions on it.
“He will just want this all over.”
