Piers Morgan predicts Arsenal v Chelsea, hits out at senior man
By Harvey Byrne
Piers Morgan has predicted an Arsenal defeat in their Saturday clash against league leaders Chelsea.
The two London clubs are preparing to face each other at Stamford Bridge for Sky Sports’ 12.30pm kick off.
It is also a match which sees two managerial heavyweights in Antonio Conte and Arsene Wenger meet.
However, celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan hit out at the French manager on his personal Twitter account before the kick off, stating that he’s “not even the best manager in London anymore.”
There are just two places and nine points between the Gunners and the Blues in the league this season.
However, Chelsea are seemingly flying under Conte, while inconsistency still seems to be rife within the Arsenal team.
The Blues are also very strong at their home ground and have picked up 30 points from their 11 matches at Stamford Bridge this campaign.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have been going steady on their travels as they sit in fourth place in the away league table with 21 points from their 11 encounters.
The Gunners ran out convincing 3-0 victors when the two sides last met in September with goals from Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil.
However, Arsenal’s last win at Stamford Bridge came all the way back in 2011 in a 5-3 victory.
In other Arsenal news, Gunners supporters urged Wenger to drop this attacker against the Blues.
