PL flyer would send fans into meltdown: Three players Celtic must sign to solve big problem area
Greg Cunningham (Preston)
Cunningham is a proven operator in England’s Championship and would be an ideal back-up solution to Tierney.
The four-times Republic of Ireland international began his career at Manchester City and has made 166 appearances in England’s second-tier since leaving the Etihad to play for the likes of Nottingham Forest, Bristol City and Preston.
This season, the 27-year-old has had a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury but he is now back to his best and is known for his solid defensive play as well as his ability to bomb down the left-flank.
He could be a good rotational option with Tierney for the Champions League and Premiership games and will probably not cost an arm and a leg.
