Celtic player ratings v Motherwell: 9/10 world-class display from fringe star
Midfielders
Scott Brown – 7: Controlled the midfield as usual, involved in an incident with Louis Moult which saw him suffer a bloody face, the referee took no action
Olivier Ntcham – 7: Started his first game in a week, was heavily involved in the first goal and had a good game overall, may well start against Anderlecht
Jonny Hayes – 8: His best game for Celtic so far, constantly had the beating of his man on the wing and put in a host of superb crosses, may well feature more after Patrick Roberts’ injury
Tom Rogic – 6: Mostly on the periphery of the game, had a goal disallowed eventually which was a good decision, but didn’t really dominate like he can, missed a sitter to put Celtic 3-1 up
Scott SInclair – 7: Involved in the first goal and had a good game, everyone will be relieved that he wasn’t involved in any controversial incidents today, ankle injury he suffered looks to be a concern
