Postecoglou told to sell five toxic Celtic players after Lennon bomb - Whelan
Ange Postecoglou may have to sell five first-team players to avoid an unhappy Celtic dressing room, according to Noel Whelan.
The former Aberdeen hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the Australian boss would have to offload wantaway stars if he cannot turn their heads.
Speaking on talkSPORT on Tuesday (June 23rd), former Hoops boss Neil Lennon claimed “four or five” players wanted to quit Parkhead this summer.
Star defender Kristoffer Ajer confirmed in June he expects to leave Celtic over the coming months.
Meanwhile, as revealed by Football Insider back in April, striker Odsonne Edouard is another Celtic ace looking for a move.
Both players are heading into the final year of their contracts in Glasgow.

Whelan admitted while it was no surprise to hear more players want out.
He suggested Postecoglou now faced a dilemma to avoid an unhappy dressing room.
“That’s no surprise to any of us,” Whelan told Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge.
“When certain players don’t want to be a football club, it can be detrimental to the whole team.
“Keeping them at the training ground, keeping them somewhere they don’t want to be, it rubs off on everything you do. That’s on the training ground and on the field.
“There’s a real uphill task there for the manager at Celtic. He’s got to either pacify these players or come to grips that he’s going to lose four or five very senior players. How are you going to replace them?”
Ryan Christie joins Edouard and Ajer as those who will be out of contract in 2022.
Meanwhile Leigh Griffiths’ terms are set to expire at the end of the month.
