Bielsa may be ready to quit Leeds due to lack of ‘investment’ after source reveal – pundit
Leeds United must do everything they can to convince Marcelo Bielsa to stay at Elland Road beyond the end of the season, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward suggested Bielsa may be ready to quit Leeds at the end of the season if he is not financially backed in the January transfer window.
A Whites source told Football Insider at the weekend (4 December) the club are preparing fans for the possibility this could be the iconic manager’s final season in west Yorkshire.

The hugely-popular 66-year-old has only ever signed one-year deals with the club and director of football Victor Orta is compiling a shortlist of potential replacements.
Asked whether this feels like the end for Bielsa at Leeds, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “That is a tough one, they will look at the end of the season.
“If Leeds finishes lower than they did last season he might think ‘I’ve taken this team as far as I can. I haven’t been given the investment that other teams have’. He may choose to walk then.
“It’s very tough to predict but if I was Leeds I would be doing everything I can to make him stay because he’s an outstanding manager.
“No other names really jump out at you for Leeds.”

Bielsa has been in charge of Leeds for four seasons if he sees out his contract.
He has already spent more time at the club than any other he has managed.
