Pundit cites Bowen in ‘incredible’ West Ham claim as two new signings on the cards
Noel Whelan has hailed David Moyes’ “incredible” record of developing players signed from the Championship at West Ham.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Said Benrahma have been “absolute revelations” in east London.
The Telegraph (26 December) claim West Ham could return to the Championship this month to sign Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly.

Meanwhile, the Athletic reported on Tuesday (28 December) the Irons are also admirers of QPR’s Rob Dickie.
Whelan insisted West Ham have an exemplary record of bringing players from the Championship to the Premier League.
He credited Moyes’ “excellent” man-management and coaching as the reason behind the club’s success.
Whelan told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “The fact is David Moyes gets the best out of these players and knows how to develop them.
“He trusts them. That’s why he’s not afraid to go into the Championship. They’ve watched them over many, many times in many games and they can see the player can develop and fit straight into Premier League football.
“That’s what they have done. They’ve been an absolute revelation, Benrahma and Bowen. West Ham are not afraid to delve into the Championship market, are they?
“It’s about man-management and trust from managers as well. David Moyes has done an excellent job at West Ham.
“From where he’s taken them to where they are now, it’s quite an incredible record with how much better they’ve got with these signings.”

Both Kelly and Dickie have been mainstays for their respective sides this season.
Bournemouth currently sit top of the Championship, with QPR one point outside the play-off spots in seventh.
