Pundit: Daniel Levy ‘doesn’t care’ what Tottenham fans have to say amid fresh criticism
Daniel Levy “doesn’t care” about Tottenham fans and will take no notice of their fresh criticism.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the atmosphere at Spurs’ last Premier League home game.
Large sections of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium turned on Levy and ENIC during their side’s 2-0 loss to Aston Villa on 1 January.
Fans chanted “get out of our club” as Antonio Conte’s side failed to lay a glove on Villa.
McManus insists Levy will have taken no notice of the chants.
“Levy doesn’t care,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“Why would he? This has happened before. It happens at every football club and it comes and goes. You probably won’t hear it next week.
“He knows exactly what is going on at the football club, he knows things the fans don’t know. So the only person he needs to be happy with is himself.
“I’m sure he will just ignore whatever people are saying and he will get on with his job. The fans can’t think this will change anything, surely.
“Chants have never made a football club owner or chairman do anything. Most of them don’t listen to the fans.
“I can’t see anything changing.”

Spurs sit fifth in the Premier League after beating Crystal Palace 4-0 on Wednesday (4 January).
They are next in action against Arsenal on Sunday (15 January).
