Pundit ‘disappointed’ by Ryan Kent after what he has seen at Rangers
Frank McAvennie is “so disappointed” in Ryan Kent after his recent Rangers performances.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Celtic striker said Kent’s teammates should be demanding more from him.
The 25-year-old has been a consistent starter under Giovanni van Bronckhorst and was in the starting lineup for the Gers’ 4-1 victory over Aberdeen on Saturday (29 October).

The winger has also featured in the Light Blues’ dismal Champions League campaign and has failed to make an impact on the top European stage.
Kent has entered the final 12 months of his Ibrox contract and is free to sign pre-contracts elsewhere from January.
As quoted by the Daily Record (18 October), Van Bronckhorst said that negotiations between Kent and sporting director Ross Wilson over a new deal are ongoing.
Earlier this month (1 October), sources told this site that the winger rejected a new contract offer and is holding out for a move to the Premier League.
A move to the English top flight could be difficult for Kent as McAvennie claimed he is wasting his potential.
“I am so disappointed in Kent,” he told Football Insider.

“I think he is a wonderful talent. For me, he has got everything in his locker he just does not do it. He has got his head down and I am thinking why? The talent the boy has got. It is a shame.
“If I was his teammate I would be wanting more out of him.“
In other news, according to Kieran Maguire Rangers may have held secret Club 1872 talks as statement issued.
