Pundit hails ‘another early signing’ after Leeds source’s Rasmus Kristensen update
Paddy Kenny can’t wait to see Rasmus Kristensen turn out for Leeds United after he agreed personal terms with the club.
The former Whites stopper spoke exclusively to Football Insider as Jesse Marsch closes in on his second summer signing.
On 3 June, Football Insider revealed Leeds United have agreed personal terms with RB Salzburg right-back Kristensen as they close in on a deal.

A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Leeds have have had a contract offer accepted by Kristensen and are increasingly confident of making him their second summer signing.
The defender scored 10 goals and chipped in with eight assists in 44 total appearances for Salzburg during the 2021-22 campaign.
Kenny can’t wait to see Kristensen in action.
“I have touched on this with Leeds plenty of times,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“By not signing anyone in January they put themselves in a position they should not have been in.
“The squad was so thin and it nearly cost them their Premier League status.
“It makes sense for the squad to be made bigger and to have people fighting for positions.
“That means they actually have replacements when there are injuries and suspensions.
“It’s another early signing as well so they aren’t waiting around which is what you want to see from Leeds now.
“He sounds like a quality player so I’m looking forward to seeing him play.”

United have already signed one Salzburg player after completing a £25m deal for attacking midfielder Brenden Aaronson last month.
He boosts Marsch’s midfield options as speculation continues to mount over Kalvin Phillips’ future.
