Pundit hails ‘brilliant’ Liverpool under-radar ‘signing’ who’s as good as Salah
Frank McAvennie claims Andy Robertson is as important to Liverpool as Mo Salah.
The former West Ham hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, has been blown away by the defender’s efforts this season.
Robertson, 27, has made 10 appearances for Liverpool this season and chipped in with three assists.

He played 90 minutes on Sunday as the Reds put down a marker in the Premier League title race with a 5-0 win over Manchester United.
According to Liverpool Echo, after Mo Salah scored his side’s fifth, Robertson could be heard shouting, “keep going, be ruthless”.
McAvennie claims the defender’s efforts have gone under the radar this season and also suggested he is the best in the world for his position.
“I feel like he’s gone a bit under the radar recently,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“People will call me biased and I get that but Andy Robertson, what a player.
“He just hasn’t stopped ever since he signed for Liverpool. Is he the best left-back in the world? Probably.
“It’s such a pain that Scotland’s two best players are both left-backs because Tierney is brilliant as well.
“But Robertson, this season, has been on another level. What a bargain signing he’s been.
“Liverpool are such a good unit and he’s a big part of that.
“He might not get the headlines but he’s one of those players who is every bit as important as the Mo Salahs of the team.”

Liverpool remain second in the Premier League.
They travel to Preston in the EFL Cup on Wednesday.
