Pundit issues ‘big’ Everton claim after what he’s just seen
Everton are in “big, big trouble” after a poor start to the 2022-23 Premier League season.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Everton failed to win any of their first three games of the season, only picking up one point in a draw against Nottingham Forest (20 August).

They have also need to field a make-shift team due to the latest injury to Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Anthony Gordon has been selected to lead the line ahead of Salomon Rondon, who is yet to impress for the club.
Wenham has not been impressed by what he has seen.
“Everton, I cannot wait to play them,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They are a complete mess. Anthony Gordon has been playing as a kind of striker for them, I saw him last week [v Nottingham Forest] having a load of shots but doing nothing.
“Pickford had to make a lot of saves as well and this was against Nottingham Forest. Everton are in big, big trouble. They’ve also got financial issues, which could lead to big problems.
“They are playing Iwobi as a defensive midfielder as well which is quite interesting. It’s a point on how they are a mess at the moment, he is not a central midfielder.
“They are a mess and I think they are going to have a really hard season. Like I say, I can’t wait until we play them.”

As reported by Sky Sports on Tuesday (23 August), Chelsea are prepared to pay £60million for Gordon ahead of the transfer window closing.
