Pundit issues ‘huge’ Dejan Kulusevski claim after ‘game-changing’ Tottenham development
Dejan Kulusevski’s return to the Tottenham side is a “game-changing” boost for the club.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the winger’s return from injury.
Kulusevski played 22 minutes against the Merseysiders and made an immediate impact upon his introduction, providing the assist for Harry Kane’s strike.

He also played 31 minutes as Spurs crashed out of the Carabao Cup away to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday (9 November).
The Sweden international had missed six Premier League games with a thigh injury after starting six of Tottenham’s first seven top-flight games.
McManus insists the winger’s return to fitness is a “game-changing” development.
“Kulusevski is quality,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“I think he has been a huge miss this season. We went into the season expecting him to be one of the key players there, that obviously hasn’t happened because of injury.
“Now he’s pretty much back, that’s game-changing in my opinion. He is so quick and his output is top-notch.
“You see a lot of players who work hard and put a load of crosses in but they never score or assist. Kulusevski does that all of the time.
“He’s still young as well so he has a real hunger to do well. I think once he is fully fit and fully back then Tottenham will see their fortunes improve.”

Kulusevski notched five goals and eight assists in 20 games in the 2021-22 campaign after arriving at Tottenham in January.
The winger, who is yet to see his loan move made permanent by Spurs, has now notched a goal and four assists in 11 outings this term.
