Pundit issues ‘huge’ Frank Lampard claim as Everton submit offer
Everton need more than two new attackers to survive in he Premier League.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Toffees’ January plans.
Sources told Football Insider on Friday (13 January) Everton have submitted a £17.7million bid for Lorient winger Dango Ouattara.

Everton’s recruitment team and boss Lampard are in the market for attacking reinforcements and are looking to bring in new forwards.
On Thursday this site revealed the Toffees’ are in the market for two attacking players this month.
McManus claims two new attackers will not be enough to save Everton from the drop.
“I watched Everton the other night against Man United and let me tell you, they need a bit more than two attackers,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“A new midfield and a couple of wingbacks might not be a bad idea either. They aren’t going to get all of those players, obviously.
“Could two attackers keep them up? It depends on the players. We saw Maupay come in and he’s done absolutely nothing.
“That good defensive record Everton used to have has gone now as well so they have problems at both ends of the pitch.
“I don’t back them to nick a goal and win games 1-0 now. Lampard a huge problem and two attackers won’t fix that.”

Lampard’s side dropped into the relegation zone following the latest round of Premier League fixtures, in which they lost 4-1 to Brighton (3 January).
The Toffees are next in action against Southampton on Saturday (14 January).
