Pundit issues ‘incredible’ Man United owners claim as Gary Neville slammed
The Man United ownership is not to blame for the club’s poor form.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
There is fresh unrest at Man United amid the club’s worst start to the season in 100 years.
Protests are planned for the Red Devils’ next game against Liverpool (22 August) and there are fresh questions being asked of the ownership.
Gary Neville launched his latest attack on the Glazer family following the loss to Brentford on Saturday (13 August), blaming them for the club’s poor form.
Wenham insists the Glazers are not to blame.
“You have Gary Neville banging the drum about the owners again,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“The owners have invested an utter fortune. Every summer is spend, spend, spend. Neville is claiming it’s Joel Glazer’s fault.
“How it is Joel Glazer’s fault? They have backed the managers. Whoever it was at the time, they have spent an absolute fortune.
“It’s the manager who is not getting enough out of the players. He’s not picking the best players. This is guy who is not picking Raphael Varane, it’s incredible.
“How is that the owners’ fault?”

On Thursday (18 August) Sky Sports reported the UK’s richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is serious about purchasing a stake in the club.
Man United remain bottom of the Premier League.
In other news, Kieran Maguire has claimed Man United could be sold for an “amazing premium” after a Michael Knighton reveal.
