Pundit issues ‘mindblowing’ Alexander Isak claim after Newcastle United update
Alex McLeish claims Alexander Isak’s move to Newcastle United is “mindblowing”.
The former Scotland and Rangers manager, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to the latest on the 22-year-old’s move.
As per Newcastle World‘s Jordan Cronin, Isak touched down in Newcastle on Thursday afternoon (25 August) ahead of a medical.

It was reported by Sky Sports on Wednesday (24 August), that the Magpies have agreed a £58million deal with Real Sociedad.
The versatile attacker will become Eddie Howe’s first attacking recruit of the summer with one week remaining of the transfer window.
McLeish loves what he has heard from experts about how Isak can develop into one of the world’s best players.
“Isak is definitely a player who has been in the eye,” McLeish told Football Insider’s Ben Wild.
“There are some players who go under the radar but Isak has definitely been in the public eye over the last few years.
“Experts wax lyrical about him, saying he is definitely going to be one of the top players. To rewind a year and a half ago, could you imagine Newcastle were going to get this guy for this amount of money?
“It’s mindblowing. With the promising start they have made, they absolutely mean business in the biggest sense of that word.”

Isak scored six goals in 32 La Liga outings during the 2021-22 season.
In the previous season, he bagged 17 league goals in 34 games.
