Pundit issues one-word verdict on Jurgen Klopp potentially quitting Liverpool after latest development
Alan Hutton has insisted Jurgen Klopp won’t quit Liverpool but claimed the players “need help”.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa right-back said it is “crazy” to think how close the Reds are to the relegation zone.
Klopp’s side are currently ninth in the Premier League with 16 points from 12 games and are five points clear of the relegation zone.

Despite a 2-0 win over Serie A leaders Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday (1 November), the Merseysiders suffered back to back league defeats to Leeds United and Nottingham Forest.
The 2-1 defeat to Leeds on Saturday (29 October) marked the Reds’ first top-flight home defeat in 30 games and ended Virgil Van Dijk’s run of 70 league games at Anfield without a loss.
When asked if Klopp could leave if his side don’t make the top four this season, Hutton told Football Insider: “No.”
He added: “I do not think he will want to leave.
“Liverpool at this moment in time are coming to the end of a cycle. I think they need reinvestment. They have started it in forward areas of the pitch. But, midfield is obviously a concern, there are defensive concerns.
“To sit here at this moment in time and think Liverpool are five points of the relegation zone is crazy. They will not go down, of course they will bounce back but you would never foresee this.

“I think Klopp will know what problems he has. He is an intelligent manager and he will do everything that he possibly can to fix it.
“They might not make the top four, the could sneak in but they will be there or thereabouts. He will know that the playing squad need help and I am sure he will be doing everything he can to get those bodies through the door.“
