Pundit lambasts West Ham amid Nayef Aguerd latest – ‘questions have to be asked’
Questions must be asked of the West Ham recruitment team after Nayef Aguerd’s new injury.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the defender’s latest blow.
Aguerd, 26, was part of the Morocco squad that reached the World Cup semi-finals but missed their final three games through injury and illness.

Due to injury, he has only made one appearance since signing for the Hammers in the summer.
McManus is wondering how he passed a medical at the club.
“When someone has been injured like this for so long it’s really hard to not be worried,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“You spend big money on someone then they keep breaking down or whatever, questions have to be asked.
“How did he get through a medical? Is there something we don’t know about? He looked good at the World cup but now he’s injured again so that’s his second big injury since he joined West Ham a few months ago.
“West Ham already have problems at the back, they need a fully fit backline to make progress and they don’t have anyone of real quality there at the moment.
“You really have to wonder what they are doing.”

West Ham return to action on Boxing Day with a trip to London rivals Brentford.
David Moyes’ side are 16th in the table and went into the break on a run of three consecutive defeats.
In other news, Kieran Maguire has tipped an “auction” for West Ham as the “deal of the century” is cited.
