Pundit lauds ‘amazing bit of business’ as Tottenham make ‘incredible’ Harry Kane offer
Harry Kane should not sign a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Kane’s future.
Kane, 29, has entered the final 18 months of the six-year deal he signed in June 2018.

Man United are now keen on bringing Kane to Old Trafford, but Sky Sports reported on Wednesday (25 January) that he is open to signing a new contract at Tottenham.
McManus insists it would be “incredible” business for Tottenham if they can convince Kane to stay.
“If they get him to sign a new deal then that’s an amazing bit of business,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“There is no reason to stay at all but there is that connection to the club. I don’t see Tottenham winning anything any time soon so why should he stay?
“Surely that’s the name of the game now, winning things. If you have the chance to go somewhere where you are guaranteed trophies, you go there.
“Tottenham must be making him some incredible offer if he’s open to signing the thing. You wonder what he’s been told if he’s now wanting to stay.
“Logic says he should leave, everyone except Tottenham fans thinks Kane should go. So to hear he might sign a new deal did come as a surprise.”

Kane has scored 16 Premier League goals this season.
He has started all of Spurs’ 21 games in the top flight.
