Pundit ‘amazed’ by Heung-Min Son after ‘huge’ Tottenham development
Heung-Min Son should be dropped by Tottenham when his injured teammates return to full fitness.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 30-year-old’s disappointing campaign.
Son has scored in just two of his 18 Premier League outings this season.

The South Korean’s league form has been a major concern for Tottenham this season though he has still started 18 of the club’s 21 Premier League games.
Son has scored eight goals in all competitions this season with two of them coming in Spurs’ 3-0 win over Preston in the FA Cup (28 January).
McManus insists the attacker still isn’t doing enough to justify his place in the side.
“This guy won the golden boot last season, I don’t understand what has happened, it’s amazing, really,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“Everything he touched went in the back of the net and this season couldn’t be more different. He is so far off the pace.
“Not only is he not scoring but his general play just isn’t there either. You have to get him out of the team. I don’t know if Richarlison and Kulusevski are fully fit but when they are they need to come in.
“You have to play your form players. Tottenham are having a decent season even if the mood around the club is quite negative.
“Performances are well below par and Son kind of sums that up. He’s an unbelievable player on his day but we haven’t seen that all season.

“If he gets back to his best then Tottenham have every chance of getting into the top four, getting goals is huge for him.
“I just don’t see it happening.”
