Pundit shares ‘big’ prediction on David Moyes’ West Ham future after source’s manager update
Everton’s hunt for a new manager has proved why West Ham must stick with David Moyes.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Scots’ future.
Moyes bought himself time with a 2-0 win over fellow strugglers Everton on Saturday (21 January), who sacked Frank Lampard on the back of that result.

On Friday, sources told Football Insider that Sean Dyche has an agreement in principle to be the new Everton manager after Marcelo Bielsa was heavily linked with the job.
McManus insists the lack of clear candidates for the Toffees’ job proves why West Ham are better off sticking with Moyes.
“Bielsa isn’t going to take that job, I don’t think that was ever on the cards,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“Dyche is a much better fit. But he is just about the best manager Everton could get considering their current situation.
“That means he’s the best manager West ham could have got because they are basically in the same position.
“You can argue about which club is bigger but the reality is they are both bottom of the Premier League and not playing well.
“Would you rather have Bielsa, Dyche, or Moyes? For me, it’s an easy answer all day and you stick with David. He knows what he’s doing.
“I don’t think there is a better manager out there who West Ham could attract at the moment so why bother changing?
“I think that will be him [safe] until the end of the season now.”

West Ham are now 16th in the Premier League.
They are next in action against Derby County on Monday (30 January).
