Pundit slams FSG and fears ‘uproar’ at Liverpool after Salah source update
Kevin Campbell has slammed Liverpool owners FSG for failing to tie Mohamed Salah down to a new contract.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Premier League striker suggested the club could have saved millions if they’d agreed a new deal with the 29-year-old before this season.
Salah‘s contract at Anfield expires at the end of June 2023.

A Liverpool source has told Football Insider the forward’s representative, Ramy Abbas, is demanding a deal worth £500,000-a-week for his player.
Salah is now widely regarded as the greatest players on the planet on current form.
In 12 appearances across all competitions, the Egypt interantional has contributed a staggering 15 goals and five assists.
When asked by Football Insider has for his thoughts on Salah’s contract situation, Campbell said:“There will be an uproar if they don’t get this sorted.
“Liverpool need to get it done.
“They should have been more proactive. This contract could have been sorted six months ago. It could have been sorted when Salah wasn’t regarded as the best player in the world. He should have been signed on a new deal long ago.

“Now, it seems like every week he is piling numbers and zeros onto what that contract might be. He’s been that good this season. He’s been unstoppable.
“The powers that be at Liverpool need to be careful because he is that important to them. Just get him signed. Do the deal.”
In other news, a pundit has claimed Liverpool have already found the next Wijnaldum at Anfield after what he has seen.
