Pundit suggests five rising stars heading to Liverpool before window shut

Alan Hutton has suggested Liverpool are recalling loan players with a view of them going into the first team.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender insisted Jurgen Klopp will want to have the strongest squad possible.

According to the Liverpool Echo (16 January), after recalling Billy Koumetio from his loan at Austria Vienna due to a lack of game time, the Reds could bring back other youngsters who are not being given game time at their loan clubs.

Players include Jakub Ojrzynski, Max Woltman, Leighton Clarkston and Viteslav Jaros could all return to Anfield this month.

Klopp has not been afraid to use youngsters in the first team with the likes of Ben Doak and Stefan Bajcetic being given game time recently.

When asked if recalling players on loan could be an answer to some of Klopp’s injury problems, Hutton told Football Insider: “Yeah probably.

The manager will look at his squad, who he is missing, who he needs, who is performing out on loan. Can they come in and make an impact on the first team at this moment in time? That is obviously one for the manager.

But this is a team that can go on a run and win a lot of games in a row if everything clicks. Jurgen Klopp will want the strongest squad possible and if that means bringing people back on loan then that is what he will do.
