Pundit suggests when Alfredo Morelos will quit Rangers after latest twist – ‘the board have told him…’
Frank McAvennie has insisted Alfredo Morelos won’t sign a new Rangers contract.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Celtic striker said Morelos will wait until the summer and leave for free.
According to the Daily Record (11 January), Mexican side Tigres have made a final bid for Eintracht Frankfurt star Rafael Santos Borre and if rejected they’ll turn to the 26-year-old as a January option.

Morelos is out of contract at the end of the season and the Gers could be forced to cash in this month while they still can.
The striker is believed to be on Tigres’ striker shortlist should they fail in their attempts to land Borre.
When asked if Rangers will be pushing for a January exit for the Colombian, McAvennie told Football Insider: “They have got to because he is not going to sign.
“I would think the board have told him [Michael Beale] that he has got to sell before he can bring in.
“[Antonio] Colak was back fit for the first time in a couple of weeks and he was straight in. Beale obviously ranks him higher than Morelos.

“Morelos used to be the talisman, if he was fit he was playing and that is not the case now. I think he is just running his contract down which is a shame.
“Rangers will try and sell him but he might want to go for free. Because of the way he is playing that is the only way he will get money now.“
