Pundit suggests when Granit Xhaka will quit Arsenal after source’s reveal
Alan Hutton has backed Granit Xhaka to stay at Arsenal for “years” after an “amazing turnaround”.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Villa striker said that he knows what it likes to overcome a tough time at a club and turn it around.
On 26 February, sources told this site that the Gunners are in talks with the 30-year-old over a two-year contract extension.

Xhaka’s current deal expires next summer and Mikel Arteta’s side don’t want to lose him for free as he is seen as a key player at the Emirates.
The Switzerland international is happy in London and eager to pledge his long-term future to the Premier League leaders.
Hutton suggested Xhaka will stay at Arsenal for even longer.
“I think it is an amazing turnaround and it just shows you what type of guy he is,” he told Football Insider.
“He is a fighter, he is willing to put in the hard yards to show everybody that he is more than capable.
“The midfield at Arsenal at the moment really suits him. The likes of [Thomas] Partey, Jorginho, it frees him up a bit to go and play a bit further forward. So it would not surprise me if they offer him a new contract and he stays for a number of years.

“You get that good feel factor about you again from being so low, and I felt it when I was at Aston Villa, to turning it around. Ultimately they are fighting for the Premier League so it is somewhere you want to be.
“Arteta is building something special there so you would want to be part of that.“
