Pundit predicts Salah ‘signs’ after ‘perfect’ update on Liverpool contract talks via Sky
Paul Robinson has claimed Liverpool and Mohamed Salah are “the perfect match” after a positive update on contract negotiations between the two parties.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Premier League goalkeeper is adamant there is not place better than Anfield for the 29-year-old to continue his career.
Salah is set to enter the final 18 months of his contract on Merseyside.

Speaking to Sky Sports last Sunday (19 December), Jurgen Klopp revealed the club have had “good conversations” over extended terms this month.
Football Insider revealed earlier this month (11 December) that Liverpool are increasingly hopeful of agreeing an extension despite Salah’s £500,000-a-week wage demands.
Robinson believes Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are the only two clubs who could feasibly sign Salah.
“They have to get him tied down to a new contract,” he told Football Insider.
“He is the best player in the world at the moment.
“I cannot see where he would go that would further his career. He has got the opportunity to win the Premier League and the Champions League this season.
“Who could replace him? No-one. He is irreplaceable. Who could buy him? PSG and maybe Bayern Munich – that’s it.
“He is not making noises. He does not want to leave. It just makes sense that he signs this deal. Salah and Liverpool are the perfect match.”

Salah has been the Premier League’s standout player this season.
He has contributed 15 goals and nine assists in 18 league appearances.
