Ralf Rangnick: Man United man lambasted after new dressing room mutiny report – pundit

Nothing will change at Man United until a permanent manager is appointed.

That’s according to former West Ham hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after another defeat for the Red Devils.

Man United lost 4-1 to Man City on Sunday (6 March), with the club dropping out of the top four thanks to Arsenal’s win earlier in the day.

Fresh questions were asked of Ralf Rangnick by pundits after the game.

As per Manchester Evening News on Monday (7 March) some Man United players are still dissatisfied with Rangnick’s methods.

McAvennie insists Man United “don’t have a manager” and claimed no one in the dressing room respects Rangnick.

“They don’t have a manager,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“They have a guy who is filling in until the end of the season. No wonder no one respects him.

“Why would you? He’s not going to be your boss next season. They have the full season to go when they sacked Ole.

“These players need a leader and there aren’t any there. Ronaldo is the closest thing to that.

“You would think he could have got these players switched on. They would be thinking ‘hang on, that’s Ronaldo, I need to up my game’.

“That hasn’t happened and nothing will change until a proper manager comes in.”

Man United are next in action against Tottenham on Saturday (12 March).

Arsenal are one point ahead of the Red Devils but have three games in hand.

In other news, pundit “amazed” as Marcus Rashford is put in a position “he doesn’t want to be in”.
