Rangers expected to agree £2m Antonio Colak deal – expert
Antonio Colak will likely leave Rangers this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Gers defender Alan Hutton said Colak will fall down the pecking order if he stays at Ibrox next season.
The 29-year-old put pen to paper on a three-year deal last summer but is attracting interest in what has already been a busy summer window for the Light Blues.
According to The Sun (9 July), Werder Bremen are eyeing a £2million move for the Croatian striker, who is also attracting interest from the MLS.
When asked if the Gers would be looking for a higher price for Colak, Hutton told Football Insider: “It is probably about right.
“Of course they would like the highest figure possible.
“He had a decent goalscoring season when you look at his numbers, he obviously had the injury then the manager reverted back to [Alfredo] Morelos.
“I just do not think he quite suits the way that Michael Beale wants to play – that high intense energy, lots of movement, lots of linking up play – he does not quite fit the bill.
“If you look at the players he has brought in, Colak is going to fall down the pecking order now.“

The forward made 39 appearances for the Gers across all competitions last season but fell out of favour following Michael Beale’s arrival.
Colak still managed to net 18 goals and offer up three assists in those outings.
