Rangers expert: More big changes expected after Karim deal agreed
Rangers fans can expect more changes to the club hierarchy in the coming weeks.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Gers defender Alan Hutton is pleased to see the club making big changes before the season gets underway.
On Monday (26 June), the Light Blues confirmed the latest addition in a string of changes to the club with Karim Virani appointed as Chief Commercial Officer.
The Gers have been undergoing a major exodus of senior staff members in recent months, with managing director Stewart Robertson leaving his post.
Director of finance and football administration Andrew Dickson and academy chief Craig Mulholland have also departed.
Sporting director Ross Wilson was another important name to move on from the club and link up with Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
When asked if he is pleased to see the club getting senior names through the door before the start of the season, Hutton told Football Insider: “I think you have to.
“There has been a lot of change in the hierarchy of Rangers and I think it is important that they get these people in place before the start of the season because you do not want it dragging on and really affecting the team on the pitch.

“Michael Beale is doing the right thing with his squad as well. He wants them in early so he can work with them and hit the ground running so it obviously works that way all through the club.
“I expect there to be more changes moving forward. You have to trust the process and trust that the right people are in charge.“
