Rangers expert suggests signing spree after third shattering injury blow
Alan Hutton has suggested Michael Beale needs to bring in new signings to cope with the injury problems at Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers defender claimed Michael Beale couldn’t have done anything differently to prevent the injuries.
As quoted by footballscotland ahead of their’ 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock on Saturday (4 March), the Light Blues boss confirmed that summer signing Tom Lawrence won’t return until the beginning of next season after suffering a major setback.

John Souttar, who has made two appearances for the Gers since joining in the summer, returned to the grass along with Ridvan Yilmaz.
Kemar Roofe has also suffered another setback and his return date remains unclear.
When asked what Beale can do about the injury problems, Hutton told Football Insider: “The problem for Michael Beale is that he inherited it.
“He has come into the club and really hit the ground running, you can’t argue with the team’s form. In certain moments in time they could have done better.
“The likes of Souttar who is missing for large periods, Yilmaz missed a lot. These things can’t be helped, it is not like he could have done anything different. It is probably more focusing on what he can change at this moment in time.

“Can he get these boys back fit to help the team? Or is it a case of he needs to bring his own players in. So it is a difficult situation for him.
“He obviously wants a fully fit squad, it is getting better week on week. Moving forward he can only concentrate on what he can affect and that is the fit players within the squad. I am sure that is what he is doing at the moment.“
In other news, according to sources, Rangers fine axed Josh McPake for disciplinary issues and could now terminate deal.
