Rangers fans ‘disgusted’ by official club update ahead of Celtic showdown
Rangers fans are fuming at the prices of tickets for their upcoming Scottish Cup clash with Celtic.
The two Old Firm sides are set to clash at Ibrox on 8 March, with a place in the semi-finals at stake.
As a result, many fans are keen to get tickets, with Rangers looking to lift the cup for the first time since 2022.
However, after it was confirmed that tickets would cost £53 for an adult and £43 for a junior, supporters were disgusted, as their loyalty was exploited yet again.

Rangers fans fume at Scottish Cup ticket prices
For Rangers and Celtic, the Scottish Cup has heightened importance this season.
As it stands, it looks likely that one of the Old Firm sides will finish third in the Scottish Premiership table after Hearts pulled further away at the summit on the weekend.
As a result, one of Celtic or Rangers could be sent down into the Europa Conference League if they do not finish inside the top two.
This could prove extremely costly on the financial front and could massively impact their summer spending.

However, if they win the Scottish Cup, these concerns will be eradicated, with the winner awarded a place in the Europa League qualifiers.
While this could still be awarded to the third-place side if the winner of the competition ends the season in the top three, this is not a guarantee.
As a result, the importance of winning the match at Ibrox is high, as whoever progresses will become the immediate favourite to win the competition.
Yet, many fans have seemingly been priced out of the tie, with Rangers supporters fuming at the recent announcement.

When do tickets go on sale for the Scottish Cup quarter-final?
For those with season tickets in the Sandy Jardine, Govan East Corner, Copland, Enclosures, Bill Struth Main Stand and Club Deck, tickets will be available to purchase from 9am, 24 February, until 9am, 26 February.
For those with season tickets in the Broomloan Stand, tickets will be available slightly later due to Celtic supporters occupying the stand for the tie.
As a result, they will go on sale from 9am, 24 February, until 9am, 26 February, for those on CCCS.
For those not on CCCS, they go on sale from 10am, 28 February to 9am, 2 March.
After this, tickets for MyGers members go on sale at 10am, 2 March and RSCs at 12 noon, 2 March.
