Rangers fans have been left fuming after Connor Goldson was pictured with the rest of the squad heading to Birmingham for their pre-season friendly.
The image came amid reports that the centre-back had flown to Cyprus to undergo a medical ahead of a move away from Ibrox.
Despite the strong rumours of an exit, Goldson appears to have travelled with the squad ahead of the pre-season clash with Birmingham City on 24 July.
Should he be involved in Philippe Clement’s squad, or possibly even start the game, it will be the latest hint that an exit is not as close as first expected.
This left fans raging, as they had been hopeful of seeing the 31-year-old leave the club this summer amid a mass clearout of the squad.

Football Insider previously reported that Rangers will entertain offers for Goldson this summer as they look to clear the wage bill and raise funds for further investment.
However, it now appears the defender will not be making any imminent move away, although a deal may still materialise later in the window.
Fans were fuming at the new development, labelling the situation a “shambles” and admitting to being “gutted” at the news.
