Captained the Gers in the first-half as he tried to talk Dalcio through the game.
Looked more than comfortable with the ball on the ground but struggled with a few more direct attempts from the Brazilians.
Used the ball sensibly when needed and tried to ping a few long passes of his own but with little success.
Will have helped youngster Aidan Wilson beside him in central defence and guided the 19-year-old the first-half.
