Where do you start with this one?
By the time Kevin Kyle appeared at Ibrox he had already been out of the game for 18 months after a serious knee injury and had never particularly set the world alight anywhere in his career – save for a brief spell at Kilmarnock.
The big striker huffed and puffed his way around the bottom tier of the Scottish league before hanging his boots up after a brief spell at Ayr United and then working on a ferry.
There’s not much positive that can be said about his time at Ibrox and his signing still doesn’t really make any sense.
Kyle scored three times in 11 appearances for the Gers during his single season at Ibrox.
