Rangers have big Alfredo Morelos problem as ‘amazing’ Celtic player verdict issued – pundit
Alex McLeish has hailed the “amazing” striker options at Celtic ahead of Kyogo Furuhashi’s return from injury.
The former Scotland boss, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the Hoops are not too reliant on any one forward the way Rangers are with Alfredo Morelos.
As quoted by Japanese publication The Mainichi last Saturday (19 March), Furuhashi revealed he is in “very good condition” and that he expects to be “back soon”.

Furuhashi has been out of action since suffering a serious hamstring issue back in December.
Despite his fine start to life in Glasgow, McLeish suggested the Japan international would not walk back into the side.
Asked if Furuhashi would go straight back into the Celtic XI when fit, McLeish told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “I wouldn’t say that’s 100 per cent certain.
“Especially with Giakoumakis and his movement, getting into the box. He’s scoring goals left, right and centre now.
“I’ve said about Morelos that Rangers rely on him too much. Celtic look as though they’ve got three or four who can put the ball in the back of the net.
“They look an extremely dangerous team. It is great competition. There’s no way Furuhashi is going to go in and take Giakoumakis’ position.
“The manager may only get him in the team by playing him in the front three. If it’s a front two they go for, he’s got amazing goal-scoring power there.”

Furuhashi netted 16 goals in 26 appearances for Celtic before his injury blow.
Meanwhile, Georgios Giakoumakis has scored 12 times this term, including a hat trick against Ross County.
In other news, Celtic tipped to win all three April Old Firm games after “absolutely massive” Rangers “blow”.
