Rangers should shift focus to Tromso midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl if they miss out on BK Hacken prospect Silas Andersen.
Sporting CP are “close” to signing Andersen in an £8.6million package deal, as interest from the Gers in January has been confirmed.

The 21-year-old Danish national undoubtedly has a bright future ahead of him, but he’s set to continue his development in Portugal.
As a result, the Govan side should now prioritise a deal for an alternative option and Hjerto-Dahl has been linked with a move to Ibrox.

Sources told Football Insider back in December 2025 that Leeds United were interested in Hjerto-Dahl.
Brighton & Hove Albion and Bournemouth were also credited with entering the race for the Norwegian prospect and Rangers may have to fend off the Premier League clubs to get a deal over the line for him.
What the Gers could potentially have in their favour is that they can guarantee the midfielder a regular spot in the starting lineup if Raskin leaves.
The Glaswegian outfit will also be playing in the Europa League next season, another factor that may work in their favour with regards to Hjerto-Dahl’s move.
