Rangers have got ‘ready-made’ Alfredo Morelos replacement amid source’s £13m+ transfer reveal – pundit
Rangers have a ready-made Alfredo Morelos replacement in the form of Kemar Roofe.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider amid an update on Morelos’ future.
An Ibrox source told Football Insider last week (7 April) that Rangers are braced for offers for Morelos, 25, with one offer already in the pipeline.

The Glasgow giants are set to hold out for a £13million-plus fee despite the fact the striker will be into the final 12 months of his contract this summer.
Morelos will miss the rest of the season through injury, meaning Roofe, 29, has been leading the line in recent games.
He has bagged four goals in his last two outings and Kenny claims he can permanently replace the Colombian.
“He’s 100% ready to take over that role,”
“He’s gone and got a hattrick then he’s scored the important goal in a European knockout game.
“It shows he’s high on form and he’s sent a clear message that he’s ready to be the main man.
“Every game Rangers play now is massive for them so the more Roofe scores, the more he’s showing he can replace Morelos.
“It saves Rangers a job this summer because Roofe could be the ready-made replacement they need.”

Roofe bagged a hattrick against St Mirren last weekend (10 April) before scoring a late winner against Braga on Thursday (14 April).
He has scored 16 goals in 34 total outings this season.
