Rangers fans all say the same thing following Max Aarons announcement

Rangers supporters have been unanimous in their reaction to the news that Max Aarons has joined the Ibrox giants on loan from Bournemouth.

The right-back has become the first signing of the Russell Martin era at Ibrox, as the former Southampton boss strives to close the gap on fierce rivals Celtic.

Aarons arrives in Glasgow after making five appearances for Spanish outfit Valencia while on loan with Carlos Corberan’s men last term.

The 25-year-old was a regular feature for Bournemouth in the 2023/24 Premier League season, and could be ready to shine in the Scottish Premiership.

Aarons previously proved his worth with former club Norwich, where he performed well in both the English top flight and the Championship.

Rangers fans demand more signings after Aarons announcement

The right-back could prove to be a solid addition for Rangers, but Martin still has plenty of work to do in the transfer window.

After the Bears failed to win silverware last season, the Ibrox faithful have voiced the fact that they want to see more player recruitment after the 49ers enterprises takeover.

Meanwhile, Football Insider have exclusively revealed that Rangers have opened talks with Peterborough United’s Emmanuel Fernandez.

The centre-back enjoyed regular game time for Posh in League One last season, and could link up with Aarons in Martin’s backline.

Elsewhere, Nico Raskin has been tipped to make a Rangers exit in an Ibrox News exclusive, which would leave the Glasgow giants with yet more transfer business to complete.

After the Gers announced Aarons’ signing via X on Wednesday, 25 June, one supporter commented: “More signings”, while another asked: “Another at 5pm?”
