Rangers news: Aaron Ramsey’s season may be over as expert issues ‘scans’ claim
Aaron Ramsey’s Rangers season could be over, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker delivered his verdict after Ramsey limped off during the 2-1 win over Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday (17 April).
After playing 80 minutes in the 3-1 win over Braga last Thursday night (14 April), the 31-year-old had to be replaced just before half-time at Hampden Park.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst told Premier Sports, via footballscotland on Monday (18 April) his midfielder suffered a hamstring injury but it is unclear how long he will be out.
Rangers will be hoping for a quick recovery as they travel to Germany for their Europa League semi-final first leg with RB Leipzig next week (28 April).
But Agbonlahor has claimed the Wales international’s race may be run this term.
He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “That could be his season over.
“Sometimes those tears can take a month, five weeks. He hasn’t got that luxury and that amount of time to get back.
“It’s a shame because he has been in good form recently.
“He’s got a big game in June for Wales in World Cup qualifying so he’ll want to be back in time for that.
“It will be interesting to see what the results of the scans say.”

Ramsey has played 10 times across all competitions for the Gers since his January move from Juventus.
He was beginning to show his best form with two goals in his last three Scottish Premiership games.
In other news, Aston Villa are plotting to sign a Rangers star with just 11 appearances this season.
