Docherty flitted in and out of the game and had spells where he was one fo the Gers’ better performers but couldn’t maintain it consistently over the entire game.
The Gers simply can’t afford to have their central midfield fail to show up in long spells of games and hope to win anything.
The 21-year-old shows flashes that he will be an important player for the Gers but is too inconsistent just now and needs to do it consistenly or face losing his place in the starting XI.
