First game back after almost six months out injured for the 30-year-old former Norwich City star.
Slotted in beside Greg Docherty in central midfield but looked off the pace at times as he struggled after so long out.
Clearly in need of more games to get back to his best and will be a key player for the Light Blues when they face Celtic in next month’s Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden.
Picked up a booking in the second-half as he began to tire before finding a second wind as the game wore on.
