Tried to get forward but the Portuguese winger’s delivery was too often disappointing as he failed to beat the first man or find a blue jersey in the box.
Saved James Tavernier on a few occasions with runs back to cover space left by the full-back as he tried to attack.
Worked hard without getting any real reward for it and looked much sharper in the second-half as the Gers drew level then pushed for a third goal.
